| Effective 1 July 2026 South Kempsey Medical Centre participates in the BBPIP (Bulk Billing Practice Incentive Program) and offers bulk billing to eligible Medicare patients in accordance with Commonwealth Government requirements. Patients who are not eligible for bulk billing, or who choose not to use Medicare for their consultation, will be charged the following private consultation fees (subject to change): |

Non-attendance (Missed Appointment) Fee
Patients who do not attend their appointment or who fail to provide at least 2 hours’ notice of cancellation may incur a non-attendance fee. As no medical service is provided, this fee is not claimable through Medicare and must be paid by the patient. The practice reserves the right to waive the fee in exceptional circumstances.
